The Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce needed additional financial expertise shortly before and during its merger with the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce.  Field Consulting Services took over the duties of merging the two organizations'€™ finances and developing new reports and metrics to be reported to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors.  This included the start up of a new accounting system to control the larger business and bringing on board a new accounting firm to manage the organization's audit and taxes.

General Manager, Trenton Corporation

Trenton's General Manager took a several year leave of absence from the company,  and Field Consulting Services stepped into the position while he was away.  As General Manager, FCS had full responsibility for all operational matters including production, quality assurance, maintenance, inside sales, and shipping.  FCS introduced new equipment and technology providing much needed additional capacity and resulting in near perfect on time shipping performance.   Under the guidance of FCS, the company worked closely with the county and received an award for its pollution prevention activities.  Additionally, several new products were introduced to the marketplace and manufacturing processes and equipment set up to manufacture those items to anticipate and meet demand.
